Do please take the time to read about all the steps in the ripping process at least once.
When you know that your EAC settings are correct and have made a few rips already, you just need to remember to do the right things in the right order...
- Insert CD in drive and start EAC.
- Check the CD information and edit if needed.
- Detect gaps, check that the gap lengths look reasonable.
- Create cue sheet (noncompliant).
- Rip (test & copy, compressed).
- When the rip is done, check for errors and CRC mismatches.
- Edit the path (folder name) out of the cue sheet if needed.
Done!
